FeatherWeight™ Seats Will be Delivered on Additional 16 New Deliveries for Pegasus

Greensboro, North Carolina – 4 January, 2012…TIMCO Aerosystems, a unit of TIMCO Aviation Services (“TIMCO”), announced today that its FeatherWeight™ series seats were installed on the first Pegasus Airlines (“Pegasus”) B737-800 aircraft recently delivered with a Sky Interior by Boeing Co. from the OEM’s facilities near Seattle, Washington. Boeing’s Sky Interior concept includes new ambient lighting, spacious entry and aisle areas, larger stowage bins and fuel-saving improvements due to lighter weight structures.

Pegasus, based in Istanbul, Turkey, played an active role in the design of the particular version of the FeatherWeight™ seat installed on its aircraft. In fact, a joint TIMCO-Pegasus team named its mission the “Lighten the Load” initiative, and met with success on the seat variant that will be installed on an additional 16 new Pegasus B737-800 aircraft deliveries in coming months.
