Located in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina on the campus of Greensboro's Piedmont Triad International Airport, TIMCO - Greensboro is a 600,000 square foot purpose-built facility complex for aircraft base maintenance (FAA Class IV rated certificate TIPR833K; EASA approval EASA.145.4946; Bermuda BDA/AMO/379).
The complex includes three wide body hangars (Hangars I-III) as well as fourth hangar (Hangar IV) for narrow body aircraft. The hangars are complemented with 60 acres of ramp parking space to accommodate TIMCO's commercial, government, military and other private aircraft owners and operators.
TIMCO - Greensboro is largely self-supported, with complete backshop operations including structural, electrical, avionics and advanced composites. The facility complex also includes corporate and customer offices, an on-site training center, shipping and receiving and TIMCO Aerosystems, TIMCO's engineering design, integration and manufacturing division.
Greensboro hangars are clear span structures, equipped with state-of-the-art fire suppression equipment and energy-saving low-speed, high volume air circulation fans. Like TIMCO's other airframe MRO locations, TIMCO - Greensboro is AS9100B-certificated (130700.01) (based on and including ISO 9001:2000).
